Cancer Screening – Jamaica, Queens.
Cancer Screening
Cancer screening tests can find underlying disease in people that have no signs of sickness. It is very important to get screened for breast, cervical and colorectal cancers – this is the only way that cancers can be found early.
In fact, cervical and colorectal screenings can find growths which can be removed before they become cancer. Doctors reccomend lung cancer screening and it is recommended for men and women who are between the ages of 55 and 80 years old, especially those who have had a history of heavy smoking,or who smoke now and have quit within the last 15 years.
