Blood and Urine Pregnancy Testing

We offer both blood and urine pregnancy tests that are highly accurate. These tests measure the presence of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), a hormone produced during pregnancy, in your urine or blood.

Our urine pregnancy tests are quick and deliver results in just a few minutes with 97-99% accuracy. For earlier detection, a blood test can identify pregnancy 7-12 days after conception. Although more expensive, blood tests provide results sooner than urine tests.

When Should I Get a Pregnancy Test?

The best time to take a pregnancy test is a few days after a missed period, especially if you are experiencing symptoms such as nausea, breast tenderness, or fatigue.

To improve accuracy, take a urine test in the morning when HCG levels are highest. Remember, if in doubt, test!

Understanding Your Results

Negative Result: A negative test result generally means you are not pregnant. However, if taken too early, the result may not be accurate. We recommend waiting a few days after a missed period and testing again if needed. If you’re not pregnant, now may be a good time to explore birth control options.

Positive Result: A positive test means you’re likely pregnant. At this point, you have three options:

• Continue with the pregnancy and become a parent
• Continue with the pregnancy and consider adoption
• Consider ending the pregnancy with a therapeutic abortion
